The Thompson Okanagan Tourism Resiliency Program provides support to our tourism stakeholders within the Region including all 90 communities and Hamlets in the Okanagan, Thompson, Boundary, Gold Country, Shuswap, Similkameen, and Merrit Nicola regions, as well as the Syilx, Nlakápamux and Secwépemc Nations. Our efforts will include but not be limited to connecting businesses with information, advice, support and solutions, while building lasting resiliency practices for our industry.
To execute our Resiliency Program, Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association has established several Program Advisors within our team. Our diverse group of Program Advisors will provide hands-on support in helping access the most appropriate resources and programs relative to your needs. In addition to the establishment of Program Advisors, Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association will be hosting a series of webinars to provide more wide-ranging insight on COVID-19. These webinars will answer more common questions and look at current best business practices and strategies in these unprecedented times.
The Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association team is a diverse and committed group with varied backgrounds and capabilities. For our stakeholder’s convenience, we’ve managed to incorporate members into our response team with varying levels of fluency in languages other than English. These languages are Spanish, French, Hindhi, Punjabi, Italian, and Mandarin.
